Description: Here is a nice fork ID'd to George E. Cook. The overall length is 7" and the wooden handle is 3.25." The fork has a red, white, and blue ribbon attached to a paper card that reads, "Fork Carried by George E. Cook, C.C. Cooks Father This Civil War." The fork is marked "STEEL PATENTED" on the back. The wooden handle has a few small cracks and the brass rivets have verdigris.
