We were formally known
as Packhorse Ford Relics but decided to change the name
of the business while we restructured the new site.
We are a full time
relic dealer servicing the Antietam and surrounding
areas. The majority of our dug relics come from
Jefferson County West Virginia, Clarke County Virginia,
and Washington & Frederick Counties of Maryland. We live
and operate out of a historically rich area. There were
a lot of troop movements throughout the area during the
Antietam, Gettysburg, and Valley Campaigns. While we
mostly concentrate on items from the American Civil War,
we also carry items from the Indian Wars, Spanish
American War, World War One, and World War Two. If there
is something in particular please let us know and we
will try to find it for you.

Shipping & Insurance is NOT included in
the price of an item.
Please be sure to include the item number
when placing an order to avoid any confusion.
We take the following credit cards: Visa, Discover,
American Express, and MasterCard.
If you would like to use a credit card,
we can send a secure invoice via email. We do not accept card numbers
over the phone. If credit card information is contained within an email,
it will be deleted immediately.
Personal Checks, Money Orders, Cashier's
Checks, and Pay Pal are accepted. Pay Pal and Credit Cards are NOT to be used for
the purchase of antique firearms or ammunition.
Items paid for with a credit card or Pay Pal will
NOT be discounted.

Payment MUST be received within 7 days
after the item is ordered. If payment is not received within 7 days the
item will immediately be relisted.
Personal checks must clear the bank (up
to 10 days) before the item is shipped. If paying with a money order or
bank check the item will be shipped the next day!
On occasion, we will give discounts on
bulk deals that total over $1,000.00.
We don't give discounts on single items
or items that are in the new items section. Occasionally we will
discount items that have been sitting for a lengthy amount of time.
We do not give discounts on items paid
for with a credit card or when using Pay Pal. We also DON'T charge a
service fee for using these services like some dealers do.
All items will be shipped using USPS or
delivery confirmation and insurance unless otherwise requested.
Insurance and shipping prices will be
added to the total cost of the items sold. Insurance is recommended on
all items. If insurance is not directly asked for and purchased, I will
not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of the item. Any
item(s) which amount to or over $100.00 MUST be insured for the
total amount of the item's purchase price. All items which I sell will
be carefully packaged to ensure a safe and sound delivery. All items
paid for using Pay Pal must be insured for the full amount.
There is a minimum shipping charge of
$4.00 for all items ($100.00 worth of insurance included)
Shipping may cost more depending on
Insurance is recommended on all purchases over $100.00.
Insurance is available staring at $2.50
for $100.00 worth. It is $1.00 for every $100.00 worth after that. (Ex.
$300.00 worth of insurance costs $4.50.)
Shipping to the West coast is a little more due to the
fact that the USPS charges by region. If we can fit it into a small flat
rate box shipping will be $6.00 + insurance. Larger items will be
shipped via medium flat rate box for $12.50 + insurance. If a large flat
rate box is needed the cost will be $20.00 + insurance.
We no longer sell or ship internationally. Sorry for the

All live small arms ammunition must be shipped UPS
ground. No Exceptions!

All items that are
offered by American Military Antiques are 100% guaranteed authentic and
as described for the LIFETIME of the item. If for any reason you
would like to return an item, you may return the unaltered item within 5
days of when the item is received for a full refund minus the shipping
and credit/Pay Pal processing costs if applicable. We do charge a 10%
restock fee on all returned items!
Letters of Authenticity
We will gladly write a letter of authenticity for any
item we sell for a fee of $10.00 USD.

If for any reason you would like to
return an item, you may return the unaltered item within 5 days of when
the item is received for a full refund minus the shipping and credit
processing costs if applicable. ALL returned items are to be
insured for the full amount, and arrive in the EXACT condition as
when shipped to receive a refund. If returned items are NOT
insured and damage or loss has occurred during shipping, then I will
nullify the return. Items which are on layaway are non returnable. There
is a 10% restock fee on all returned items.
Appraisals & Questions Pertaining to the Value of an Item
Unfortunately, I no longer have time to answer emails
about appraisals or questions pertaining to the value of items. I am
backlogged and have quite a pile of items to research in my own time.
This site isn't my day job so to speak but it sure feels like a second
job at times. Thanks for your understanding!
Items on Layaway will not be discounted.
Layaway is available on purchases over
$300.00 with 1/3 down payment and the remainder due within 60 days. The
down payment must be received within 7 days after the order is made. The
60 day layaway period starts on the date that the particular items are
ordered. The item will be held until it is fully paid for. Once the
items have been fully paid for they will be shipped within one business
day. If full payment is not received within the 60 days (unless other
arrangements are made), the item(s) will be relisted and all monies will
be forfeited. There are no refunds on items in layaway.
Longer layaway terms are available based
on an interest scale.
